From Eger's Bull's Blood to Tokaj's legendary Aszú — four days through Hungary's finest wine country, with caves, castles and extraordinary landscapes in between.
Day by Day
Day 1 — Budapest to Eger

Drive 1h 45m. Old town walk, Eger Castle, dinner in the Valley of Beautiful Women cave cellars.
Day 2 — Bükk and Aggtelek

Bükk National Park drive. Aggtelek Baradla cave tour (book ahead at nppark.hu, ~€10, 1.5 hours).
Day 3 — Miskolctapolca to Tokaj

Optional Miskolctapolca cave baths. Drive to Tokaj (1 hour from Miskolc). Evening cellar restaurant — taste 5 Puttonyos Aszú.
Day 4 — Tokaj cellars and return

Cellar visits — Disznókő, Royal Tokaj or family producers. Return to Budapest via M3 (2h 30m).
