Parliament Building

Europe's third-largest parliament dominates the Pest riverbank. This neo-Gothic masterpiece (1885-1902) contains 691 rooms connected by 20 kilometers of stairs. The crown jewel: Hungary's royal regalia, including the Holy Crown of St. Stephen, displayed in the central dome.

These cases are perfectly simple and easy to distinguish. In a free hour, when our power of choice is untrammelled and when nothing prevents our being able to do what we like best, every pleasure is to be welcomed and every pain avoided.
